Beaufort Harbour Suites is a pet friendly hotel that understands pets are an extension of your family. That's why are happy to offer two suites to our guests with four-legged friends. We gladly welcome our guests traveling with small pets and dogs, subject to state and local laws.

Our pet friendly rooms are available for an additional $25 per night and a $200 cleaning deposit refundable if not needed.

The following represent our pet friendly hotel policy:

  • Advanced reservations are required.  BHS has a limited number of Pet Friendly quest rooms that will be provided upon availability.
  • BHS accepts dogs up to 75 pounds.
  • Pets are required to be on a leash or in a closed pet carrier at all times when in public areas.
  • Pets must be crated when left unattended in the guest room.
  • Guests are responsible for the clean-up of pet waste inside the hotel and throughout the property.
  • Guests are responsible for all injuries and/or property damage related to their pet(s).
  • Guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless BHS, the hotel, its operators and owners and their respective affiliates from all liability and/or damage suffered as a result of their pet(s).
  • Guest agrees to bring only well mannered pets that will not impair the quality if the stay of other guests and to vacate the premises with no refund should problems arise.
  • Pets must have all vet records up-to-date with a copy of current vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian.  We will attach the vaccination letter to the registration card.

Historic Beaufort

Historic Beaufort was founded in 1709 and is the third oldest town in North Carolina. Home to the North Carolina Maritime Museum and past home to Blackbeard, and is rich with Maritime History. Beaufort is also an easy jumping off point for ferry services to Cape Lookout and Carrot Island part of The Rachel Carson Estuarine Reserve.
